What's the difference between Free Listing and Starter?
Free Listing is discovery-only: customers can find your restaurant, view your menu, and call or visit in person — but they cannot place online orders. Starter turns on online ordering and Stripe payment processing. We take a 20% commission on each completed online order; you keep 80%. No monthly fee, no setup cost.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The commission percentage shown on each plan is the only charge BiryaniHub takes. Stripe processing fees (~2.9% + 30¢ per card) apply to all online orders and are billed by Stripe directly — we pass those through at cost.
How do I get paid?
When you start accepting online orders, you'll connect a bank account through Stripe Connect. Stripe deposits your share (order total minus BiryaniHub's commission minus Stripe's processing fee) on a rolling basis — typically every 2 business days.
What documents do I need to sign up?
Free Listing needs only a government-issued owner ID. Starter additionally requires a federal/state TAX ID (EIN) and a current Food Service License. Bank verification happens later through Stripe Connect when you're ready to receive payouts.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes — start on Free Listing to validate interest, then upgrade to Starter when you're ready to accept online orders. Toggle the change from Vendor Portal → Settings → Subscription.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — cancel from your vendor portal at any point. No long-term commitments.
